Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, 

With joyful hearts, we present to you the 2025 Impact Report of the Catholic Community Foundation of Northeast Indiana. This year, we reflect on our theme: Stewarding God’s Gifts. 

Since our last report, we have mourned the death of Pope Francis and celebrated the election of Pope Leo XIV. As we have prayed for the eternal rest of Pope Francis, we pray now for our new Holy Father as he shepherds the universal Church at a time of many challenges.

In choosing the name Leo, our new Holy Father honors Pope Leo XIII, whose landmark encyclical Rerum Novarum reminds us that all we have – our material, personal, and spiritual blessings – are entrusted to us by God. These gifts carry both profound dignity and deep responsibility: to use them justly, to uplift others, and to help build a future filled with hope and faith.

Over the past year, your generosity has borne remarkable fruit. Through more than 300 endowments managed and over $2.4 million in grants distributed, parishes, schools, and ministries across our diocese have been strengthened. Behind every number is a story of transformation: students receiving Catholic education, seminarians preparing for priesthood, families supported in times of hardship, and faith communities sustained in their mission.

These are the visible signs of what happens when we steward God’s gifts together. Your prayers, your trust, and your generosity have not only sustained the Church today but have prepared the way for tomorrow. In gratitude, we recognize not only what has been shared, but also the spirit in which it has been given: gifts made in trust, in love, and in hope.

As you read through this report, we invite you to reflect deeply: How is God calling me to steward the blessings entrusted to me? Whether through prayer, service, or a planned gift to the Foundation, each offering strengthens our Catholic community for generations to come.
